I rely on the data for my county—thankfully I know how to weigh risk objectively (and often subjectively). I am almost a year out from open heart surgery and I can’t imagine where I would be if my surgery had to be delayed because of lack of ICU space. I think you will know—until then make no apologies for being steadfast as all of us look optimistically but cautiously into a new normal. ❤️

I hope you're surgery worked like it was intended and you're doing well Bonnie. I remember when you mentioned you had a major procedure that was wearing on you, but I didn't know what it was.

I will know. I just got back from a three hour supply run (5 stops). Not one person was wearing a mask, not even employees -- except me. And I watch the county reports too. It's not like COVID is gone here. If their neighbor isn't wearing one, then there's no way they'll wear one. In the land of toxic masculinity (women included); looking strong is everything.
